I had a delightful time creating the site for the newly published children’s book, Love Me Gently. The adventures of a young boy and his pet dog Cooper. The book involves many life lessons and the proper handling of pets by children. It’s a colorful and fun type of project to work on for many reasons. One of the major ones was the terrific artwork that was made available to me to use in the design. The project included many features specific to its needs. This included:

1. A totally custom theme design to showcase the book’s content
2. A featured slider to illustrate the beautiful artwork
3. Social networking integration to get the word out
4. E-Commerce capabilities for selling the book online
5. Previews of the book
6. Photo galleries of the real-life characters the book is based upon
7. Event calendar showcasing book signings, appearances and more
